Regional Outbreaks of Severe Weather Through Early Next Week; Early Season Heat Wave across the South

Active spring pattern across the center of our nation with several episodes of severe weather and heavy rainfall expected into next week. The potential for very large hail, long track tornadoes, severe wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes and flash flooding are in the outlook. We are closely monitoring a strong storm in the Bering Sea. It will be tracking from the southwest to the northeast and eventually moving over the Bering Strait.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A High Wind Warning remains in effect for the Pribilof Islands through 1AM Saturday morning.

 

A Coastal Flood Warning and a High Wind Warning have been issued for the Kuskokwim Delta Coast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is also a Flood Advisory for the Kuskokwim Delta, and a Flood Warning specifically for Napakiak.
