This past rain event made for a few noteworthy tid-bits:

- Daily rainfall record of 0.66" at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (Last daily rainfall record for Anchorage was on May 26 when 0.76" fell)

- Yesterday's 0.66" was the second wettest calendar day (Midnight - Midnight), and the storm total of 0.88" marked the second wettest 24 hour period of the year.

- This event now has us on pace to have an above normal month of precipitation... first one since May, and with more rain to come tonight & tomorrow (not as much as this past event), as well as an active storm track remaining in place over the next 12 days, chances are very good we will end the month with above normal rainfall for the first time since May.

In case you were wondering, September's monthly rainfall record is 7.70" set back in 2015. We are currently at 2.27" for the month. Average is 2.99"

Enjoy!
