...High Risk Of Rip Currents Atlantic Beaches...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Rip currents: There is a high risk of rip currents along the Atlantic 
beaches through this evening.

Thunderstorms: A few thunderstorms remain possible today 
across the western half of South Florida, primarily for the 
afternoon and early evening hours. Heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and 
frequent lightning are potential hazards today.

Wind: A few strong (likely sub-severe) wind gusts may occur today in
association with robust thunderstorms that develop over the interior
region through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A brief dry spell should materialize tomorrow across much of the
region, as the Saharan Air Layer filters in over South Florida.

Thunderstorms may return to the area later this week, and may persist
into the upcoming weekend.
