...STRONG WINDS AFFECT GULF WATERS...

A POWERFUL SURFACE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING ACROSS THE 
NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO HAS PRODUCED WIDESPREAD REPORTS OF 
STRONG WINDS OFFSHORE TODAY. SUSTAINED WINDS EQUAL TO TROPICAL 
STORM FORCE WITH A FEW GUSTS TO HURRICANE FORCE HAVE BEEN 
REPORTED.
