
Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Hurricane Audrey Radar Loops: June 26-27, 1957 (5 Seasons per DVD, except 3 Seasons on last release) These DVDs present a chronological succession of half hourly GOES-East Infrared (with Visible & Water Vapor from 2002-2017) Satellite Imagery for the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of America at 10 frames per second. The length of a normal season of satellite imagery (from 06/01 to 11/30) should be just over 14 minutes, but with the satellite eclipses, its closer to 13 minutes. 1995-2019 Atlantic Tropical Storms & Hurricanes Affecting the United States: A Satellite & Radar Study DVDs (One DVD per season except 2000-2001, 2009-2010, 2011-2012, and 2013-2015 combined into one DVD release). These DVDs chronicle the life cycles of the tropical cyclones that affect the United States each season with GOES infrared and visible satellite imagery, and is followed by land based National Weather Service WSR-88D radar imagery in the areas affected. The DVD is menu driven, with separate storm sub-menus describing the areas affected. Within each storm sub-menu, separate satellite and radar sub-menus allows the user to choose which satellite or radar sequence to view. The satellite and radar animations are at 10 frames per second from 1995-2017, and 30 frames per second from 2018-2019. |
