Hurricane Lorena will continue to provide additional moisture into northern Arizona. Heaviest rainfall will likely be across Yavapai County and Gila County, but we cannot completely rule out isolated heavy rainfall from training storms elsewhere.
A Flood Watch has been issued for Yavapai County and northern Gila County for this afternoon/evening. Similarly, WPC issued a Slight Risk for the same areas in reference to the potential for excessive rainfall. This surge of moisture is from Hurricane Lorena, and we'll continue to see showers/storms through Saturday.
