Heavy to excessive rainfall could bring areas of flooding at times Monday through Thursday across parts of the central Plains into the Midwest as well as southern Arizona and New Mexico. Widespread showers and thunderstorms forecast for today/tonight. Persistant showers/thunderstorms will likely lead to flash flooding concerns across northern Arizona. Some storms could be severe in nature and produce gusty/erratic winds, frequent lightning, and hail.
