Showers and storms will exit the area to the south and east later this morning, then afternoon highs will rise into the 90s once again. Some spots across far southern and southeast Kansas may reach 100. Cooler and drier air arrives tonight, and lows will drop into the 60s.
A cold front will bring milder air to the region this weekend along with breezy northerly winds, mainly on Saturday. Then, temperatures will rebound beginning on Monday.
