NOAA Weather Radio

Keeping you ahead of the weather!

It is always a good idea to have
more than one way to receive a
warning when hazardous weather
is heading your way, and a NOAA
Weather Radio (NWR) is a great
tool to stay informed! An NWR
radio will instantly alert you
as soon as a weather warning
or civic emergency message has
been issued for your location.

NWR operates 24/7 throughout the
year to bring you the latest weather
and hazards information.  The Grand
Forks NWS office is responsible for 16
NWR transmitters scattered across
northwest Minnesota and eastern
North Dakota.
