Elmore County F1 Tornado near Kent - November 15, 2006
The tornado was on the ground from approximately 1102 AM CST (1702Z) until 1106 AM CST (1706Z).
Storm Relative Velocity Image taken from the Maxwell WSR-88D when the tornado was on the ground. At this time, the tornado was located north of Chana Creek Road, near the beginning of the damage path. The radar is located in the lower right part of the image. The green colors indicate reflectors moving toward the radar and red colors indicate reflectors moving away from the radar. The parent thunderstorm was going through a re-organization process around this time. This is the fourth and final tornado produced by the same parent thunderstorm, which started back near Pintlala. |
