Last Map Update: Tue, Jan 6, 2026 at 2:04:25 pm MST

Dry southwest flow aloft will create one more quiet, pleasant day across the Borderland Tuesday, before clouds and showers move in Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will remain well above normal with just some patches of high clouds.
Temperatures this week will start off about 10° above normal, then slide to around 5° below normal by the weekend. A Pacific storm system and cold front will bring decent chances for light rain mid-week, changing to snow in the highest elevations (>7500’) as it moves out.

Snow levels will start out high again (~9000 feet) Wed Evening, but will drop to around 7,500 feet Thu morning as the precip starts to diminish. Light snow accumulations are possible.
