Currently, the NWS issues Frost Advisories, Freeze Watches, Freeze Warnings, Hard Freeze Watches, and Hard Freeze Warnings. The agency is proposing to eliminate the Hard Freeze Watch and Hard Freeze Warning headlines, issued when minimum temperatures are forecast to be 28° F or lower during the growing season, and add Hard Freeze wording to the Freeze Watch and Freeze Warning products.

A survey to provide your comments on this change is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/freezeproposalIt is open until December 18, 2021.
