Powerful Pacific Storm to Continue Impacting Northern California; Heavy Snow in the Appalachians and Portions of the Northeast

A strong atmospheric river will continue to impact northern California with heavy rain and life-threatening flooding through Friday. Unsettled weather is expected across much of the Northeast and Great Lakes over the next few days, including the likelihood of heavy snow in the central Appalachians and higher elevations of northeastern Pennsylvania and southern New York.   • 1124 AM FLOOD: INOLA HIGHWAY 88 FLOODED IN SPOTS IN THE INOLA VICINITY

  • 1126 AM FLOOD: TULSA 6-8 INCHES OF WATER OVER THE ROADWAY AT 43RD STREET AND SHERIDAN ROAD.

  • 1030 AM FLOOD: 4 E OWASSO 80TH STREET NORTH AND 166TH STREET SOUTH CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.

  • 1039 AM FLOOD: CLAREMORE MAIN AND SECONDARY ROADWAYS IN CLAREMORE FLOODED...AND HAVE BEEN BLOCKED OFF BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. SOME MOTORISTS HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN THE CLAREMORE AREA.

  • 1043 AM FLOOD: 3 E OWASSO 86TH STREET NORTH 1/2 MILE EAST OF THE TULSA/ROGERS COUNTY LINE HAS BEEN CLOSED.

  • 1045 AM FLOOD: VERDIGRIS HOMES IN THE VERDIGRIS AREA HAVE BEEN FLOODED.

  • 1019 AM FLOOD: PRYOR 25 WATER RESCUES PERFORMED SO FAR IN THE PRYOR AREA

  • 1005 AM FLOOD: OWASSO WATER UP TO THE DOORS AT SEVERAL BUSINESSES AT A STRIP MALL LOCATED AT 76TH STREET AND HIGHWAY 169 IN OWASSO.

  • 1012 AM HEAVY RAIN: TULSA 1.59 INCHES RAIN FELL IN 30 MINUTES AT THE TULSA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...BETWEEN 940 AM AND 1010 AM.

  • 1004 AM FLOOD: WATTS WATER OVER ROADWAYS IN THE TOWN OF WATTS.

  • 0942 AM FLOOD: LOCUST GROVE COUNTY ROADS IN THE VICINITY OF LOCUST GROVE HAVE BEEN CLOSED. LOCUST GROVE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS PERFORMED 2 WATER RESCUES FOR STRANDED MOTORISTS.

  • 0903 AM FLOOD: 5 ENE PEGGS WIDESPREAD FLOODING OF HOMES ACROSS NORTHERN CHEROKEE COUNTY. AN INCREASE IN WATER RESCUE EFFORTS HAVE BEEN REQUIRED ACROSS THE AREA.

  • 0530 AM FLOOD: CHELSEA HIGHWAY 28 ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF CHLESEA CLOSED. NUMEROUS COUNTY ROADS CLOSED ACROSS ROGERS COUNTY. SEVERAL BUSINESSES IN CHELSEA REPORTED TO HAVE STANDING WATER.

  • 0826 AM FLOOD: 5 SW ZENA VARIOUS ROADS UNDER WATER ACROSS WESTERN DELAWARE COUNTY

  • 0826 AM FLASH FLOOD: 5 ENE PEGGS COUNTY ROAD 505 IN TERESITA UNDER WATER. SWIFT WATER RESCUE IN PROGRESS.

  • 0745 AM FLASH FLOOD: PRYOR NUMEROUS FLOODING ISSUES IN CITY. SWIFT WATER RESCUE REQUIRED JUST NORTH OF PRYOR. 3.36 INCES IN TWO HOURS AT MESONET SITE.
