This information is based on ground surveys by National Weather Service meteorologists and local officials...areal surveys by Tulsa media...and review of chaser pictures and radar data.

END... MAY 29 2004 1133 PM / 4.9 MILES NORTH-NORTHEAST OF DEPEW

PATH WIDTH... 0.4 MILES / 700 YARDS

F3 RATING IS BASED ON AN 20 FOOT SECTION OF A CONCRETE ANCHORED IRON-PIPE CATTLE GATE BEING REMOVED FROM THE GROUND AND DISPLACED 30 FEET. THE GATE WAS ANCHORED BY 3 POSTS...ALL SET IN 24 INCHES OF CONCRETE.

TORNADO TWO APPARENTLY FORMED IMMEDIATELY EAST OF TORNADO ONE AS THE CIRCULATION OF TORNADO ONE OCCLUDED AND TURNED LEFT. THE TWO TORNADOES PRODUCED BASICALLY A CONTINUOUS DAMAGE PATH. THE RESULT OF THE TWO TORNADOES WAS...5 MOBILE HOMES DESTROYED...2 HOUSES DESTROYED...4 HOUSES WITH SIGNIFICANT ROOF DAMAGE.
