Active spring pattern across the center of our nation with several episodes of severe weather and heavy rainfall expected into next week. Event Summary

An upper level system tracked across the area on Sunday February 2nd and brought measurable snowfall to far southern Missouri. The heaviest snow occurred further to the south across Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, however 3 to 5 inches of snowfall fell across far southern Missouri.

The snowfall started during the morning hours and continued until around mid evening across south central Missouri. Snow became heavy at times and did cause some travel difficulties across far southern Missouri.
