Active spring pattern across the center of our nation with several episodes of severe weather and heavy rainfall expected into next week. A storm system tracked across the region Monday December 9 2013 producing a band of light o moderate snow from far southeastern Kansas into southern Missouri. Total snow accumulations generally ranged from a dusting up to 3 inches with locally higher amounts between 4 an 5 inches in a narrow band along the Interstate 44 corridor in southwestern Missouri.
