Monthly Climate OverviewOctober 2013 was generally cooler than normal across the western part of the Missouri Ozarks into extreme southeast Kansas while the eastern Ozarks was near normal. Above normal precipitation occurred over much of the Missouri Ozarks and southeast Kansas with parts of central Missouri experiencing below normal precipitation for the month.
