 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 248 AM EDT Sun Aug 23 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Quiet weather begins today for much of the region which will
continue through midweek with below seasonable temperatures
expected. The area turns back to normal temperatures for this time
of year after midweek with moisture being pumped back into the
region bringing back summertime conditions. This along with a
frontal boundary forecast to affect the area on Thursday will
promote chances back into the area for showers and thunderstorms.
