 Widespread showers and thunderstorms can be expected today, as a low 
 pressure system crosses the area bringing much needed rainfall. A 
 few storms could be on the stronger side this afternoon.
 
 Much cooler air arrives Thursday through the weekend. There is the 
 potential for frost and freeze conditions for several nights, 
 with Saturday night into Sunday morning looking to be the coldest.
