 .DISCUSSION...
A dangerous and long-lasting heat wave is building across the area
starting today. High temperatures will climb into the 90s. The heat
will become even more intense on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday,
with high temperatures reaching the upper 90s to near 100 degrees.
When combined with the high humidity, it will feel like it is well
over 105 degrees during the afternoon hours. Extreme Heat Warnings
have been issued for much of the region. Overnight temperatures will
stay very warm in the 70s, offering little relief from the heat.
Please stay hydrated, check on vulnerable neighbors, and limit
outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.

Expect mostly dry weather through Thursday, but rain and
thunderstorm chances will return by the holiday weekend.
