 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 248 AM EDT Tue Jun 9 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Very warm and humid conditions will persist throughout the week. In
additional to diurnal showers and storms, upper level systems
facilitate chances for more widespread activity on Tuesday and
 Friday.

Thunderstorms could be heavy, with any repetitiveness over an area
elevating the potential for localized flash flooding. Some
thunderstorms can also produce strong wind gusts, but widespread
organized severe weather is not expected.
