 .DISCUSSION...
 Drier and much warmer weather is expected through Tuesday, with 
 temperatures more typical of July or August than mid-May. The 
 lowlands will see highs reach the mid 80s to lower 90s, while 70s 
 and 80s are expected in the mountains. There is a chance for some 
 locations to tie or break record high temperatures on Monday or 
 Tuesday.
 
 The next chance for widespread rain returns on Wednesday as a cold 
 front slowly moves through the region, which will return 
 temperatures back towards normal beginning Thursday. Additional rain 
 chances are expected throughout the rest of the work week and into 
 next weekend.
