 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 341 AM EST Fri Nov 28 2025

 .DISCUSSION...
We will remain quite cold and brisk through Friday, with snow
showers likely in and near the mountains, into Friday. Flurries are
possible even out into the lowlands overnight.

After a very cold start Saturday morning, we should start to
gradually warm up over the weekend. A new low pressure system is set
to bring snow into the area Saturday night, but the snow should
change to rain at least across the lowlands on Sunday, even before
 dawn in some areas.

A mixed wintry precipitation event is likely on Tuesday, as the next
low pressure system tracks mainly south and east of the area.
