 .DISCUSSION...
A significant winter storm will bring heavy snow, sleet, and
freezing rain Saturday into Monday. Widespread power outages, and
impacts to travel and infrastructure are expected due to snow and
 ice accumulations.

Frigid temperatures and bitter wind chills that set in behind this
storm are expected to linger through much of the work week. This
prolonged period of cold will be especially impactful for those
without power in the wake of the weekend storm.

A weak clipper system brings additional cold air and potential for
light snow accumulations Wednesday and Thursday.
