 .DISCUSSION...
Snow showers drifting down from the Great Lakes will gradually taper
down to flurries this morning, with slick travel spots remaining
possible. Cold temperatures and lingering wind will produce very
cold wind chills in the higher elevations of the northeast West
 Virginia mountains early this morning.

After a brief interlude of dry weather this morning, a clipper
system passing through tonight will yield accumulating snow along
the mountains and a wintry mix in the lower elevations. Active
weather persists into midweek and beyond as widespread precipitation
fills in from a southern stream disturbance. Flooding concerns arise
with this system, especially across the southern coalfields.
