 .DISCUSSION...
 Hot and humid conditions will continue across the region into the 
 weekend. In addition, smoke from distant wildfires will keep skies 
 somewhat hazy at times through the evening, with some gradual 
 improvement expected by Saturday. 
 
 Isolated showers and storms dissipate this evening, with more 
 widespread activity Saturday and Saturday night. Some storms may be 
 severe, and will contain heavy downpours capable of localized 
 flooding issues. 
 
 Drier conditions will take hold as the day progresses Sunday.
