 .DISCUSSION...
 Warming temperatures are on the way today, but they come with gusty 
 winds and some light rain and snow. Southwesterly winds will gust 
 between 25 and 35 miles per hour this afternoon. Most areas will see 
 a light mix of snow turning to rain, but the mountains will stay 
 cold enough for light snow. 
 
 The main story is a big winter storm expected this weekend. Whole 
 some details remain murky, it is increasingly likely that 
 significant snow falls Saturday night into Sunday, which will make 
 travel very difficult. Another blast of bitter cold air follows the 
 storm, with temperatures dropping into the single digits early next 
 week.
