 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV

 .DISCUSSION...
After a very warm previous day, a weak cold front will bring some
rain and freezing drizzle and or snow showers overnight through
today in the northeast mountains. Slick travel is possible in some
areas around the Winter Weather Advisory through this afternoon.

The combination of above freezing temperatures and previous rain
will cause a lot of our remaining snow and river ice to melt away
across the lower elevations. While we aren't expecting major
flooding, we will be watching for ice jams on local rivers
 throughout the week.

The end of the work week will be dry and cooler. We are watching
another stronger storm that could bring a mix of lower elevation
rain and higher elevation snow this weekend.
