 .DISCUSSION...
A dry air mass has settled into the region behind a departing cold
front. Minimum relative humidity during the afternoons for much of
this week will generally bottom out in the 20 percent range for most
areas, however, pockets of relative humidity in the teens are
possible in some locations, particularly across parts of Southern
West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, and Northeast Kentucky.

Winds will occasionally become gusty at times today, particularly
during the afternoon hours, with gusts in the teens expected across
the lowlands, and in the 20s to lower 30s mph range across the
mountains. Gusty winds are also expected Wednesday afternoon, but
should generally be lighter than previous days.

While some low end rain chances exist late this week into early next
week, a widespread wetting rain is not expected through the next 7
 days.
