Severe Thunderstorm and Flash Flooding Potential Returns Tuesday Afternoon and Evening

Thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening could produce damaging winds and hail, particularly with a line that moves southeast ahead of an advancing cold front. A tornado or two, as well as Localized flash flooding, are also possible. There is a slight to enhanced Risk for Severe Storms, and a Slight Risk for Flash Flooding.  .DISCUSSION...
 Drier conditions to continue through Monday. A potent system has the 
 potential to bring impactful severe weather to the area Tuesday. A 
 high-end damaging wind threat, hail, and the chances for tornadoes 
 exist with an encouraging environment for scattered supercell 
 formation. Timing currently looks to be late afternoon through the 
 evening on Tuesday. 
 
 Flash flooding is also a concern with heavy rainfall from 
 thunderstorms.  Drier and cooler weather arrives Wednesday behind 
 this upcoming severe weather event.
