 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 336 AM EDT Tue Sep 16 2025

 .DISCUSSION...
Mainly dry and warm weather is expected and will continue into
midweek although we cannot rule out some slight chances for showers
across the mountains. An increase in clouds from a system off the
Atlantic coast will result in more seasonable temperatures by mid
week. In addition, a slight chance for showers is possible across
the mountains daily into Thursday. Dry weather will return to round
out the work week with the potential for warmer and possibly wetter
 weather for the weekend.
