 .DISCUSSION...
A strong cold front brings a line of showers and gusty winds across
the area overnight, then very windy and much colder weather persists
Monday into Tuesday. Precipitation will change to snow in some areas
by Monday afternoon, especially for the mountains.

Winter-like weather will be in full control much of this week, with
a reinforcing shot of arctic air to ring in the new year while
assuring a prolonged period of cold weather, along with another
 opportunity for snow.
