 Expect daily chances of showers and thunderstorms to linger as a 
 cold front stalls to the northwest today and then retreats back to 
 the north as a warm front by midweek. 
 
 A classic hot, humid, and unsettled summer pattern continues into 
 the weekend. Persistent heat and humidity will make it feel warm and 
 muggy the entire week. Lowland areas will consistently see highs in 
 the upper 80s to mid 90s. Be prepared for it to feel significantly 
 hotter than the actual temperature.
