 .DISCUSSION...
High pressure building surface and aloft will bring hot weather
Today through Thursday, and even Friday, depending upon the timing
of a cold front approaching from the northwest. This is likely to
bring heat indices into the lower 100s this afternoon, and lower
to even mid 100s Wednesday, and perhaps again on Thursday.

For now, Heat Advisories have been issued for much of the lowlands
for this afternoon through Wednesday, and may eventually need
extended in area and time, and possibly even upgraded.

A cold front is likely to bring rounds of showers and storms
Thursday afternoon through Friday, but may push far enough through
for drier weather, with more seasonable temperatures, to arrive
sometime over the upcoming Labor Day Holiday weekend.
