 .DISCUSSION...
 A hot and humid weather pattern will persist through the end of the 
 work week. the last of this past evenings thunderstorms will die down 
 overnight.
 
 Thursday will be hot, with highs near 90 degrees and heat indices in 
 the upper 90s. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms on Thursday could 
 produce damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. A cold front will 
 bring a line of showers and thunderstorms to the area on Friday 
 afternoon, which will also carry a threat for damaging winds and 
 heavy downpours. Cooler and drier weather is expected for the 
 weekend.
