 .DISCUSSION...
A front will work south overnight with spotty light rain and drizzle
over the southern coalfields and in the mountains gradually tapering
off, while partially clear sky allows for patchy fog over the middle
 Ohio Valley.

Over southeast Ohio, the partially clear sky will allow temperatures
to fall to near freezing and patchy fog to form, so patchy black ice
may be found on bridges and overpasses early Wednesday morning.

Wednesday brings a brief dry interlude before unseasonably mild
weather with additional rounds of showers, and even a few
thunderstorms, impact the area at times early Christmas Day through
 the weekend.

Much colder air arrives early next week as an arctic front whips
 through Sunday night.
