 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 248 AM EDT Fri Jul 10 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through the weekend
as a humid summertime air mass remains in place across the region.
Localized flash flooding remains a possibility due to excessive
rainfall, especially today and Saturday. Thus, a Flood Watch remains
in effect into Sunday morning. A few strong storms could also
 produce damaging wind gusts.

Quieter weather is then expected for the beginning of the new work
 week.
