 .DISCUSSION...
A slow-moving cold front will bring scattered showers and storms to
the area again later tonight into Friday morning. Some storms may be
on the heavy side, with gusty winds and downpours that could result
in localized flash flooding, especially during the predawn hours
Friday. Friday will be slightly cooler and drier, with lingering
shower and storm chances mainly confined to the southern coalfields
and mountains. After a mainly dry start to the weekend, unsettled
weather returns late Saturday and onward as the front lifts back
north across the area and lingers nearby, bringing a return of daily
chances for showers and storms into next week.
