 .DISCUSSION...
 Dry weather holds with a warming trend in play through today, 
 temperatures will be back above seasonal norms. After topping out in 
 the low to mid 80s across much of the lowlands this afternoon, 
 lowland highs today will be more solidly in the mid 80s.
 
 Widespread rain showers and scattered thunderstorms associated with 
 a cold front arrive tonight, and linger into Saturday. Active 
 weather looms for the start of the next work week with another cold 
 front, and then possible additional disturbances.
