 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 518 AM EDT Thu Sep 10 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through early
Friday as a cold front crosses. The main concern will be the
potential for heavy rainfall, which could result in localized flash
flooding. A few stronger storms may also produce strong gusty
 winds.

Unsettled weather continues into the weekend, then a brief dry spell
could occur at the beginning of the new work week.
