 Fire Weather Planning Forecast
 National Weather Service Charleston WV
 248 AM EDT Sun Sep 13 2026

 .DISCUSSION...
Heavy showers will affect portions of the forecast area overnight,
with lingering flooding issues expected to continue in some areas.
Widespread fog will develop in some areas following the departure
 of rainfall.

Sunday should be quieter overall, but an isolated strong to severe
storm is possible across southeast Ohio and northern West Virginia
late in the day as a cold front approaches the area from the
 northwest.

Drier weather takes hold next week, but with it, comes a return of
above normal temperatures. Rain chances then return Wednesday and
 beyond.
