 .DISCUSSION...
Clear, calm conditions will allow areas of dense fog to form in the
river valleys through sunrise. The fog will dissipate after sunrise,
giving way to a stretch of hot and mostly dry weather that
will last through Thursday. Heat index values will approach the
upper 90s to near 100 degrees across the lowlands Wednesday and
Thursday. By the weekend, a cold front will bring a return of heavy
showers and thunderstorms. Some of these weekend storms could be
strong and bring a potential for flash flooding.
