 .DISCUSSION...
A major winter storm will continue to impact the region through
tonight, bringing a dangerous mix of heavy snow and ice. Areas
across northern West Virginia and southeast Ohio will see the
heaviest snow, while significant ice is expected across the
Charleston and Huntington areas and points south. Travel will be
extremely difficult to impossible in many areas, and power outages
are likely where ice builds up on trees and lines.

Behind this storm, a blast of arctic air will arrive on Monday.
Temperatures will drop into the single digits, and wind chills will
fall to dangerously cold levels Monday night and Tuesday morning.
This freezing weather will last all week, and temperatures are not
expected to rise above freezing through next weekend. Please check
on neighbors and make sure your pipes are protected.
