 .DISCUSSION...
A cold air mass will stay over our area through the weekend. A
winter storm passing to our south will bring 4 to 6 inches of snow
to southern West Virginia and southwest Virginia today and tonight.
This will make the roads very slippery and travel will be difficult.
Further north, only a few light snow showers or flurries are
expected with minimal accumulations. Temperatures will stay well
below freezing, and wind chills will be frigid through Sunday
morning. If you must go outside, wear several layers of warm
clothing and make sure your pets have a warm place to stay. A slow
warm-up is expected to start on Monday.
