 .DISCUSSION...
 A cold front, along with several waves of low pressure riding along 
 it, will provide welcome and much needed rain showers to the region 
 today and into tonight. Cooler air arrives behind the front 
 Thursday, with frost possible Thursday night into Friday morning, 
 mainly in the mountains and in sheltered valleys.
 
 Drier conditions briefly take hold for much of Friday, but 
 additional disturbances are expected over the weekend amid a warming 
 trend.
