Showers and afternoon thunderstorms may develop in and near the
mountains today, as a mid-upper level disturbance drifts southward
over the area.
High pressure will then build in from the north, with dry, pleasant
conditions expected area-wide from mid to late week. An approaching
system brings the next chance for showers and thunderstorms to the
area at some point next weekend.
