2026 NWS Milwaukee Storm Spotter Training Presentations

Training sessions will be about 2 hours long each. We will cover safety aspects for spotters/general public along with the essentials of what you need to know to report severe weather to the NWS.  Each session will cover the same information, so you only need to attend one.  There will also be an option to attend online training sessions being coordinated between all of the NWS offices in the Great Lakes region. More information on that to come.  Pre-registration is only necessary for the Jefferson County talk on April 9th.  See event for contact details.

Directions For Attending:

Click on the details of the event on the Google Calendar listed below for details on the location.  Pre-registration is not necessary to attend these sessions, just show up!  Some additional online training sessions may be offered later in the season.

If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled webinars, you can view a 6 part recorded series, which will be similar to what is presented in the webinars.
