Extreme heat will may set some new daily temperature records across the Desert Southwest. Hot, dry and windy conditions and dry thunderstorms continue to bring fire weather concerns for portions of the Desert Southwest, the central Great Basin and Rockies. Personnel from the National Weather Service Milwaukee office will be surveying damage on Thursday that occurred from strong thunderstorms that moved through Hollandale to Blanchardville on October 1st. There have been numerous reports of trees down in the area.
