Nor'Easter Continues to Bring Heavy Rain and Coastal Impacts; Nolo Continues to Impact Hawaii

The nor’easter will weaken tonight, easing beach conditions and coastal flooding, though locally heavy rain will continue in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and New England into Monday. Hurricane Nolo continues to bring strong winds and large waves to Hawaii. A multi-day rain event will return to the Four Corners region Monday and expand to the south-central U.S. by midweek. The Milwaukee lakeshore observation located on the Port of Milwaukee grounds near the Lake Express Ferry terminal is experiencing intermittent data outages, most likely due to the power supply. The observation stopped transmitting around 1 pm on September 2nd but resumed around 10 am on September 3rd.

Our technicians will be visiting the site to diagnose the issue, and hopefully get it corrected later this week, or the week of September 9th.
