East Coast Storm; Heavy Rain and Flooding in the Southwest U.S.; Typhoon Remnants Impacting Alaska

A coastal storm continues to bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, high surf, dangerous rip currents, and gusty winds to the East Coast into early Tuesday. A heavy rain and flash flood risk continues for the Southwest/Four Corners region with lingering tropical moisture through Monday. Cold start to February

Very cold temperatures and low wind chills will persist through mid morning. Temperatures are around zero early this morning (away from the immediate Lakeshore), with wind chills of 10 to 20 below zero. Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper teens by late afternoon.

Morning temperatures and wind chills will be dangerous to anyone spending time outside, so make sure to bundle up if you venture out.
