A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. One half to two and a half inches of snow fell across southern Wisconsin in the overnight and early morning hours between December 8th and 9th. The highest amounts were centered around Dodge county.
The snow in southern Wisconsin began in the late afternoon on Friday and persisted off and on into the morning on Saturday. Snow was the heaviest in the early morning hours.
