A coastal storm continues to bring heavy rain, coastal flooding, high surf, dangerous rip currents, and gusty winds to the East Coast into early Tuesday. A heavy rain and flash flood risk continues for the Southwest/Four Corners region with lingering tropical moisture through Monday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across southern Wisconsin.

Main Hazards:

A Few Tornadoes
Damaging Winds
Large Hail
Heavy Rainfall

We're expecting thunderstorms to begin developing within the next few hours. Initially, these storms will be relatively weak and isolated, but will gradually intensify and become more widespread as we move into the late afternoon.
