Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. ...Severe Storms Possible this Afternoon and Evening...

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across southern Wisconsin.

Main Hazards:

  • A Few Tornadoes
  • Damaging Winds
  • Large Hail
  • Heavy Rainfall

We're expecting thunderstorms to begin developing within the next few hours. Initially, these storms will be relatively weak and isolated, but will gradually intensify and become more widespread as we move into the late afternoon.
