Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible through early Wednesday morning across parts of northeast Texas into western Tennessee. Read More >

July  2018 was tied for the 7th wettest July at London.  Jackson's July rainfall was in the

middle of the record books, being 17th wettest July or 22nd driest July out of the 39 Julys

in Jackson's record books. Temperaturewise, Jackson was only 0.7 of a degree above

normal while London's July average of 76.3 degrees is exactly normal. The following are
