January 2021 was warmer than normal across eastern Kentucky.  Jackson averaged 36.9 degrees which is

two degrees above normal. London finished January 2021 with a reading of 36.7  degrees which is a little

over one degree warmer than normal. Jackson totaled 3.55 inches of  precipitation for January which is only

0.06" below normal. London measured 2.82 inches of precipitation for January 2021 which is nearly three

quarters of an inch drier than normal. Also of note, Jackson set a daily and monthly precipitation of 2.19

inches on January 25th.  Climate data for Jackson dates back to 1981 while weather records began in 1954 at London.
