December 3rd is all about SKYWARN Storm Spotters!

If you are a trained Storm Spotter, or if you act as one of our dedicated HAM radio operators, we want to THANK YOU!!! We couldn't carry out our mission without the help of our dedicated citizens who relay the weather information they are seeing first-hand on the ground!

If you aren't a Skywarn Storm Spotter, and want to learn more about the program, click here

There are several ways you can get involved:

1. Visit the website to register and add your location!

2. Join the Skywarn Recognition Day Facebook Group to see content posted throughout the day, as well as to share information and weather conditions with other spotters from across the country.

3. If you are a HAM Radio operator, we will be doing Amateur Radio Nets throughout the day, so you can reach out to other spotters/HAMs from across the country and beyond! Use the Event Resources section of the website above to find out more information. You can even fill out this Google Form to let us know about all the contacts you were able to make throughout the day! We will even have a HAM club in our office to conduct nets from onsite.
