Severe Weather and Heavy Rainfall from the Midwest to the Ohio Valley; Mid-Summer Heat Continues

Severe thunderstorm and heavy rainfall threats will persist from the Midwest to Lower Great Lakes through Monday, shifting into the Ohio Valley and Central Appalachians Monday evening into Tuesday. A Freeze Warning is in effect for eastern Kentucky tonight into Monday morning. Low temperatures Monday morning are expected to drop into the mid 20s for many of our typically colder valley locations and in the lower 30s for most other locations. Freezing temperatures could damage or kill sensitive vegetation that is left unprotected.
