Winter 2021-22 saw warm and wet conditions across at Jackson, Kentucky. It was over three and a half inches
wetter than normal at Jackson. In fact, it was the 4th wettest winter at the Jackson Weather Office. On the temperature
side, Jackson was over three degrees warmer than normal. It was the 3rd warmest winter at Jackson. London's seasonal
calculations were incomplete due to a precipitation sensor error in December and a temperature sensor error in January.
February 2022 was warm and wet across eastern Kentucky. Jackson averaged 41.8 degrees which made February
2022 exactly three degrees above normal. The London Corbin Airport finished February 2022 with an average of 40.7
degrees which was a little over one degree warmer than normal. Jackson picked up 5.61 inches of precipitation during
February which is over one and three quarters inches above normal. London totaled 6.46 inches which is over two and
a half inches wetter than normal. It was the 10th wettest February at London and 11th wettest at Jackson. Climate data
