Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. April 2019 ended up much warmer and drier across eastern Kentucky. Jackson totaled 2.80" of
precipitation which is over one inch below normal. The precipitation sensor failed at London from
April 19th to 21st so the monthly precipitation total is missing. It was the 10th driest April at Jackson.
Both Jackson and London were two to three degrees above normal. Jackson saw the 11th warmest
April while London tied for the 16th warmest April.
